KoLab Consulting was founded in 2024 by senior digital product management and delivery leader, Ben Rennie, who knew the level of skill he wanted get around the table to create a product thought consultancy built on expertise, experience, intelligent and considered thinking.

He didn’t have to look far to find the perfect blend of senior leadership nous to join him in the business—his sister Sarah Rennie and friend Ben Carson were the obvious choices to balance business strategy and technology expertise with Ben’s digital product know-how. 

KoLab hit the ground running under their collaborative approach; the ‘power of three’ working in perfect harmony, blending strategy, product, and technology from day one.

Together, they were able to solve a common problem around businesses needing high-level and practical support for better decision-making around their technology solutions.

Throughout their careers, they saw SMEs being sold tech solutions that didn’t meet their needs, and insightful thinking being overlooked. This led to a glaring knowledge gap—one that can be time-consuming and expensive for organisations. KoLab exists to close that gap.
